Annalei d'Latu
At one time, she made an effort to be subtle, working with her husband as a mortician, a sanatarium director, a scholar. While not particularly concerned with abiding by regional laws, she gave a half-hearted attempt to keep her less...acceptable hobbies out of sight.And with every passing year, she makes less and less of an effort.

That's me.Come take a look

is life up on a throne.K/DA - "More"
Accustomed to fighting for everything she wants, Anna never takes an easy win at face value. Constantly examining every situation for possible danger, every sentence for subtext, every face for microexpressions, she doesn't know the meaning of "relaxation" as others do.In complete opposition to this facet of her personality is the fact that Anna considers very little to be worth her time or attention. When bored, she may choose to engage with people only to forget they exist the moment something actually engages her attention.She is not particularly concerned with "making friends." Social interaction is something she rarely seeks out unless one of her rare whimsical moods happens to strike while she's within range of locations where people gather.The only thing Anna truly values is magical mastery, and she moves closer towards that goal every single day. Any form of spellcasting, any form of shaping aether, she is determined to not merely learn it, but master it.And she won't be the one paying the cost for the lessons.
Anna's history with learning various forms of magic has given her the necessary grounding to experiment beyond 'common' forms of spellcasting. She is an expert in creating new spellwork to accomplish goals that established or traditional magic cannot.
While she puts little stock in magical artifacts, she will take what she can and utilize them until she discovers a way to accomplish an effect or goal without them.
She is very aware that other planes exist, beyond the reflections of the Source. And has a particular interest in learning more about the Thirteenth.
Seifer.The name has been alternately a blessing and a curse; until recently, she would've said more curse than blessing.A step forward together shows in the lack of antagonism Anna displays towards her husband. Although they've always fought together against external threats, this is, perhaps, the first time they've not fought each other behind closed doors.Her demands have not changed: he is hers and hers alone, and there are certain acts she reserves only for him. What has changed, however, is that now their eyes hold more love than anger. More trust than hatred. More affection than loathing.At least... Towards each other, anyway.
Anna marks progress with specific accomplishments. One of those was providing her husband with the flexibility of form that allowed him to further his goals.And in doing so, she discovered a way to further her own.After all, what risk is it to her if she chooses to share an emptied form with a voidsent? If things become a bit 'iffy' for her, Anna will simply deactivate the white auracite she spent the last year and a half acquiring and leave the form to the voidsent before destroying it.While it plays nicely, however... She can explore further the possibilities of pacts with beings native to the Thirteenth.{The Au Ra physical form is partially animated by a possessing voidsent. Anna maintains control and contact with this form via an embedded spirit vessel of white auracite. This renders her Au Ra form incapable of the aetherical manipulation her "main form" utilizes regularly. This also means the Au Ra form is disposable and may be sacrificed for the sake of administering severe physical violence.}
OOC Information:--Anna's a bitch; I am not. IC interactions with Anna are likely to involve vicious remarks, threats or even physical violence. If this is unappealing to you, I don't blame you at all for choosing to engage elsewhere.--If you choose to interact with Anna, a tip for getting the conversation on a more pleasant keel is to withstand her insults or stand up to her. She respects those who don't fold when verbally jabbed.--OOC comfort, however, is tantamount. If an IC interaction treads on OOC nerves, I expect to be informed immediately (I will do you the same courtesy) and the scene will either end or we will work together to redirect it into less shaky ground.--I rarely bring Anna into "social" RP events because she is just... really mean. If you'd like to interact with her outside of her rare IC appearances IG, I'm more than amicable to doing so. I personally LOVE to RP! And I have much more approachable characters available. ^^--I am happily married to Seifer's player, fast approaching 40 and I have a very weird work schedule, so you have a better chance of reaching me on Discord than IG. We can discuss sharing Discord contact information if you'd like to chat or RP.
She eats people.Quite literally.While not an exclusive cannibal, Anna discovered early in her Eorzean years that consuming the aether of other living beings became much easier when she drained the blood from their veins. After "raising" her "daughter" Wisteria, a flesh-eating yokai, she didn't let the stock of accumulated meat go to waste.She'd developed a taste for the flesh of sentient beings long before then anyway.The only problem with indulging in her diet is the fact that she's become a bit... less restrained when hungry. Or when she's seeking greater stores of aether to pursue another bit of spellcasting lore.If she's flirting with you... the night is not going to go the way you think.
